  Can advances in technology, the wide prevalence of the Internet and smart  learning apps replace human teachers altogether?  It is a fact that the Internet provides tonnes of information. It is undoubtedly one of the important sources of knowledge. However, it is also a source of a bundle of misinformation. Moreover, the internet offers bits and pieces of information. A teacher can take this information, transform it in a coherent piece, and teach it in a way that the student can understand properly. Thus, Internet and technology can complement the endeavor of knowledge-seekers but can never take over the role of a teacher. Rather a good teacher who can instill value system, sound character, and can groom his learners in distinguishing between right and wrong, is more relevant in this age of EdTech.
